All company pipes may also be supplied with internal lining of cement mortar or epoxy. The purpose of such lining is to protect the pipes against corrosion and ensure their structural integrity over time.

Internal Lining

The internal side of steel pipes used for conveyance of liquids or gasses consists of protective lining that prevents corrosive attacks on the pipe and reduces friction during flow of liquids or gas inside the pipe.

The type of lining required is determined based on the type of substance that is to flow inside the pipe and its corrosion rate.
